Kyra N. Thompson (b. 1993) I’m a New York based independent designer originally from Jefferson Park, a neighborhood located in the southern region of Los Angeles, California. Previously at The Washington Post, where I contributed to a range of multicultural narratives, social impact projects and campaigns.

My approach is grounded in creative research, also developing meaningful connections, challenging perceptions, and highlighting underrepresented narratives. Currently my services include branding, web design, film posters, and typography; with a focus on amplifying the voices and stories of Black, Brown, Indigenous, and LGBTQIA+ communities.
